I was too young for Cyndi Lauper when she was big and my dad got me listening to Rolling Stones, Van Morrison, Van Halen so I never got into Madonna either.... I was kind of an odd child....lol. I remember moving when I was 11 and all the kids in my class were into Backstreet Boys and Mariah Carey and I was listening to Smashing Pumpkins and Guns 'n Roses... lol.
I did think Cyndi Lauper was funny on the Apprentice though... lol.
No shit, huh!? I have multiple personalities, I think. I'm old fashioned in a lot of ways, but my husband and my BTBs are the only ones who see my fuckhot side. ;-)
I love the old school versions of both Madonna and Cyndi. I appreciate their older music more now than I did back then since I was mostly listening to the late 80's/early 90's rock hair bands during that time.
