It wasn't until my oldest was in first grade and had to be at school without me for 6 & 1/2 hours, that it got bad. He would cry as I left, for a couple of months. I finally was overwhelmed, and one morning as he was crying, I started crying, and then one of the moms that was standing nearby saw it, and she had to walk away because she started crying.
