OT On live with Kelly they've been doing a Canadian word of the day and I had no idea Americans didn't know what a toque is or a bunny hug or ginch... lol. It's hilarious too that Americans don't know what poutine is....lol.
I'm an adopted American, I just became an American on 2010 ;) But this is the English I speak now. When I first learned (back in Santiago) it used to be more queen's English inclined. People would look at me like I had grown 2 heads! LOL Looking all Latina Sabrosa and all, and saying "Ello, how do you do?" LMFAO!
My mom has a neighbour down her street that is from Chile, she had a hard time at first with the Canadian winters. Mom would go visit her and come home sweating cause she kept the house so hot... lol. She's better now but she says when she gets home sick she cranks the heat in the house so it feels like home...lol.
Awwww I feel for her!!! We are desert rats!!! LOL I'm telling you I nearly died in Europe! I've never seen so much snow, one day I went to bed with my hair a little wet and woke up with my hair all hard, It was fucking frozen from being near the wall!!! WTF!!!!I missed my cactus! and sun, and tumbleweeds... this is home!!! The other night I called my husband screaming! Saying the temperature dropped in Vegas , it was almost 67 inside the house, so I cranked it up to 72... aahhhhhh this is good! LOL
LMFAO Crazy sounded just as good, dude I had chinese food for lunch... it did not cut it, I want fries with gravy or crazy or whatever and CHEESE!!!! LOL
I'm in Arizona, so I speak Cowgirl! I don't even know if I'd ever use the word "toque" in a sentence here...unless a cowboy hat got squished and I said, "Hey that hat now looks like a toque!" To which they would kick me into New Mexico with my luggage behind me...lol
I'm originally from Minnesota...and you know you're a cheese curd lover when that's what you go to the State Fair for!!! ♥ Now here I go for the Inidan Fry Bread...yum!!
Yah and I've been craving fucking poutine all day now! I think I'll be going to A&W when the kids goto sleep.... I really don't like sharing my poutine! lol.
